Our Philosophy centres on the freedom of the residents' to take control of their lives by actively participating in choices that will affect their care and quality of life.
We endeavour to retain personal dignity and independence, irrespective of infirmity social, emotional and physical needs will be identified and managed with empathy by the staff.
To provide care for residents' with dementias and other cognitive deficits and impairment, utilizing behaviour management strategies rather than the use of routine tranquillising medication unless prescribed by their General Practitioner
To provide individual holistic care for all residents' taking into account:
- Their age
- Cognitive functions
- Learning and/or physical disability
- Past or present lifestyle issues and experiences
- Terminal illness
- Sensory impairment
- And other complex Health Issues
